Change robots without stopping the line.

Harness is the workspace where your team and AI agents run the robots, models and tools you already have. Every change is checked against your safety limits, rolled out cell by cell, and recorded.

We're building Harness with a small group of design partners.

Plugs into what you already run.

ROS 2, Isaac Sim and MuJoCo, VLA checkpoints and model APIs, fleet tools, your MES, OPC UA, MQTT and VDA 5050. You bring the robots and the models; we never require ours.

A workspace for every floor, cell and fleet.

Like projects in an AI chat app, except each workspace holds part of your plant: its connectors, robots, charts, notes and history. A workspace is also a boundary: an agent working on Factory floor 1 can't touch robots on Factory floor 2.

Know a new version is better before it goes live.

Shadow runs, production cycles and test cells feed one scorecard: cycle time, pick success, interventions. On real robots alone, telling apart two versions 10 points apart can take 199 to 388 trials each.1

Every change passes the gate.

Each action, from a person or an AI agent, is checked against live robot state and your safety limits before anything moves.

Change: pick v13 to cells 1 to 3

  • Safety limitsPassed
  • Shadow runPassed
  • ApprovalApproved by the safety lead

Agent request: raise the Cell 2 speed limit to 400 mm/s.

Blocked: 400 mm/s exceeds the 250 mm/s zone limit.

Cell by cell, with a way back.

New versions go live one cell at a time. If results slip, the cell rolls back to the last good version, automatically.

Rolling out pick v13

  • Cell 1Live

  • Cell 3Pick success fell to 88%, below its 90% floor. Rolled back to pick v12.

A record you can hand to an auditor.

Who asked, which checks ran, who approved, what rolled back. Tamper-evident, per change.

The rules for changing robots are arriving.

Five million industrial robots were at work at the end of 2025.2

  1. Cyber Resilience Act: vulnerability and incident reporting starts3

  2. Pi API beta: outside teams can fine-tune and deploy robot foundation models4

  3. Product Liability Directive applies: software counts as a product5

  4. Machinery Regulation applies: a five-year log of interventions and safety-software versions6

  5. Cyber Resilience Act applies in full3

  6. AI Act: high-risk rules for AI safety components in products7

Who it's for.

Physical-AI teams
Ship new skill versions and know they're better.
System integrators
Run every client cell from one account, and hand each one over with its safety record.
Safety officers
Approve changes against clear limits, with the evidence in front of you.
Plant managers
See robots in line metrics, and know who changed what.
Robot makers
Publish the customizations you allow, so customers can adapt your robots safely.

How we work.

Support
Engineers who answer, with on-site help through integrator partners.
Reliability
Designed so Harness is never the reason a line stops.
Compatibility
Open standards first: ROS 2, MCP, OPC UA, MQTT and VDA 5050.
Ease
Useful on the first day, without a robotics PhD.
